Hi, my name is Madushanka, and I’m a 30-year-old father of three incredible children. Life has been incredibly challenging for us recently. About six months ago, I was in an accident that left me unable to work, and shortly after, the mother of my children left, leaving me to raise my kids alone.

As if that wasn’t hard enough, Sri Lanka’s ongoing economic crisis has made everything even more difficult. The cost of food, clothing, and school supplies has skyrocketed, and it’s been a daily battle just to put food on the table.

This Christmas, all I want is to give my kids a small piece of joy—something to remind them that, even during tough times, they are deeply loved and deserve happiness. I’m humbly asking for just $650 to:

Buy them some clothes to keep them warm and comfortable.

Get a few small gifts to brighten their holiday.

Prepare a special meal to share together on Christmas.

Purchase school supplies to prepare them for the upcoming year.
